Ken Hindmarsh has been directly involved with the Sunshine Coast property industry since 1998. During that time he has gained a wealth of experience in property development, management, leasing and sales.
Back in the year 2000 Ken set up Hindmarsh Property Services, which has steadily grown from humble beginnings to the leading specialist commercial property management enterprise that it is today.
Before settling on the Sunshine Coast in 1988 Ken had a successful career as a site supervisor for major companies such as Leighton Major Projects, Theiss Special Projects and Clough Engineering Well known infrastructure jobs he worked on included the massive Burdekin Falls Dam in North Queensland and the Royal Australian Navy Fleet Base Wharf at Garden Island and Tarong Power Station.
He grew up on a small farm in rural New Zealand, the only son of an earthmoving contractor. Ken’s early working life was on farms and driving earthmoving plant for the family business.
He gained his Civil Engineering qualifications from the University of Southern Queensland.
Ken and wife Maree are active contributors to their community. Ken is treasurer of the Noosa Junction Association.
